Brain Burst :: Inline Comments

So, I've been trying to get a Blogging Hack implemented here that is very nearly driving me insane. What you ask? (Okay, you didn't, but I'm going to tell you anyway.)

I saw this great feature/hack that can be applied where a post comments can be viewed in-line with the rest of the posts. It would be a nice feature in that when the "# comments" link is clicked, they would expand immediately below the post in question, saving users from digging into the individual post itself. And alternately, when done reading the comments, another click would collapse them into submission (or hiding).

Anyway, I've tried countless times now, and wonder if my current template even supports this feature, or if I'm somehow failing to implement it properly. Regardless, I'm about to just revert everything back to the way it was, to save myself the headache. And at the same time, I hate giving up.

It's a no-win situation right now, but with luck, I'll find a resource online to tell what I bulloxed up. Time will tell.
